Grin and Bear It:-
Shepherd's Skyline - results
English Cross Country Relays - results.

Guisborough Three Tops.- results.  many concerns need to registered over the flagging of the course. We were given grave warnings of this impassable tree somewhere in the woods, which needed a wide diversion. And was there an impassable tree? Not a sign of it. Should this standard of flagging take place at the Championship course next September, runners could be forever lost in't woods.
( No doubt Dan will have the more reliable truth of it all.)
Indeed he does, in Comments. For finding the route, I thought the markings were  fine, much more than expected. If, as was suggested, there is an earlier (5th April) running of the race next year - before Championship date (6th September), then having a look at the course will be most helpful.
A good course, fast running at times, linked with slithery drops, steep climbs. Dan was 4th, Joe 11th and 1st V50, Carshare hardly troubled the scorers.
Cop Hill:- results.
Peak Raid 3 - from Edale, results.

Hi Dave.

I was the lady with the collie cheering on the dpfr runners. I now live in guisborough and I was up the woods running on the Friday  and there was  a large tree down across the route from the trig point  just after the gate back into the woods, I was very surprised it wasn't there on Sunday morning.  The local rumour is that it is moving to earlier in the year. Was nice to see some brown vests, made me a bit peat bog sick

hi Dave

Unfortunatly i had to mark the course late the previous night. Which left time for someone to remove a lot of the tape i had to put several runners back on course myself . The tree must have been cut up early morning as much to my suprise as anyone. hopefully next year morning route marking and more marshals should address this . ta dan
