Edale Circle Fell Race.             9ml, (on the map).  3650 ft.

Start - Odin Mine, Castleton, by the bus stop.   135835.  

Up to Hollins Cross, different ways then - but essential to stay on access paths, short cuts on private land could upset Edale landowners, on whom we rely. You can drop left, cross the road and go through Ollerbrook, or right over Backtor Bridge. There's not much in it, but please keep to access paths.

CP1  -  Wall, top of Rowland Cote Moor.         132872 .
      You MUST go up the last bit of steep wall to the top, instead of sloping up left up that gully.

CP2 -  Grindsbrook Stream, anywhere near the bottom of Golden Clough.      120869

CP3  -   Grindslow Knoll cairn.      110869. Then stay on the marked paths through farmland to:-

CP4  -  Upper Booth, signpost obvious in the buildings.     103853 . No roads from Upper Booth, there are marked paths across the fields, slip R to a bridge over the stream just before the railway/road bridge, then the path past Manor House Farm to reach access land below Lord's Seat.

CP5    Lord's Seat tumulus        113835

CP6    Mam Tor trig.       Various ways down to the finish, either side of the shale face have been used, and there is a definite way through the erosion heaps. Finish as for the start.
