Lewis Ashton will once again be arranging the handicaps. Bribes, begging or flattery may help in getting a better handicap but cannot be guaranteed.
All members for whom an email address is available have been emailed with details. Anyone who, for whatever reason, does not receive the email in the next couple of days can contact Lewis to book a run, and Simon Patton to book a place at the meal using the links below.
A word of warning: anyone who has not paid their subs for this year cannot enter the champs or attend the dinner, as it currently stands we may have a significantly reduced field.
This year we are hosting the dinner for you in Hathersage at the Memorial Hall which is next to the swimming pool. The menu (which is simple and costs £25.00 per head) is as follows:
Starters: To be confirmed.
Mains: Beef Chili and salsa served with jacket potatoes and salad, OR, Vegetarian Chili and salsa served with jacket potatoes and salad
Desserts: Apple crumble served with custard or hope valley ice cream, OR, Sticky toffee pudding with hope valley ice cream
The hall is not licensed so please bring your own drinks/alcohol. We will provide a couple of barrels of beer. Proceedings will start from 7pm with dinner at 7.30pm and the band and evening entertainment through to midnight. The train station is 5 mins walk away.
