Burbage Summer Sharpener 1

Club races that appear in the calendar are primarily organised for the benefit of our members and are not normally open to non members. It is recommended that non-members who are interested in joining Dark Peak come along to one of our club runs in the first instance.
Date and Time: Wednesday 24th May 2017, 6:45pm
Event type: DPFR race
Gridref: SK260830
League: Dark Peak Races League
Notes:

Definitely on. The "competitive training run" will be run to the usual format, i.e. it will start at 6:45pm from the gate next to the Burbage North Bridge car park. By then you will have a map in your hand revealing the controls you must visit before coming back and going to the pub. You will need a compass, plus knowledge of how to use it and how to use your map to get from one place to another. Maps will be sold at £2 tonight to offset the cost of the Woodhead Mountain Rescue Ale prizes; there'll also be a few plastic A3 map covers sold at cost for those of you who don't have them yet. Registration in my old blue van will be available from about 6:15. Maps will be released five minutes before the start. By taking part in this run, you agree that you are competent to do so and that you run ENTIRELY at your own risk, (as I'll remind you before the off). DH
