Dark Peak Fell Runners is an athletics club for (mostly) off-road running. We are based in Sheffield, but have members across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and further afield. The three hundred-plus members have a wide range of abilities and interests. Our mens, ladies and veterans regularly achieve top positions in the English and British championships and in the major relays, and we also have a great depth of long/ultra distance experience. We thrive on minimal (but sufficient) organisation, a slightly anarchic sense of humour and an appetite for informal and unusual events.

Also, while I'm here, a further reminder about the ...more

Tip of the day - Calendar search: If you decide you want to go to the website of a race you have just attended, you will find that on the day after the event it has disappeared from the Calendar, so you are stymied, unless Google can come up with the goods. Kentmere Horseshoe: Clear dry ideal conditions for this classic AM Lakeland course. Great to see so many men travelling and representing, a marvellous turnout.
