For any budding media stars out there ...

This in from a producer who may, or may not, know the webmaster:

"I am emailing on behalf of Pioneer productions, we are producing a documentary called 'Face' for Channel 4. We are hoping to film a group of fell runners as part of our series. We would also like to interview an ultra marathon runner to talk about their training and running experiences. Would this be something that any of the Dark Peak Runners would be interested in? Here is a little about our documentary. Face is a 3 part science doc series for channel 4. The series intends to explore the human face: the science and genetics behind an individual's unique facial structure, how our faces age according to our lifestyle and experiences, the way we process faces, and how our face can influence others' perception of us – and so our lived experience. It would be great to come up and film during training?"

Sounds like the perfect commission for Messrs Martin and Harmer to me. Anyways, if you're deluded enough to want to get involved, do please email the calendar, or the webmaster, for contact details.

As for a club bid for stardom, surely that possibility's gotta be worth five minutes at the AGM, if only to hear the honourable D. Lockwood's views on the matter?
