We have emailed current members for whom we have an email address with details of the club championships and dinner. The email contains a link which you should use to book your meal and plead/persuade/bribe Lewis Ashton for a decent club champs Handicap. Anyone who, for whatever reason, does not receive the email in the next couple of days can contact Lewis to book a run, and Simon Patton to book a place at the meal using the contact details from the Dark Peak address list.
CLUB DINNER This year we are hosting the dinner for you in Hathersage at the Memorial Hall which is next to the swimming pool. The menu (which is simple and costs £25.00 per head) is as follows:
Starters: To be confirmed. Mains: Beef chilli and salsa served with jacket potatoes and salad,
OR, Vegetarian chilli and salsa served with jacket potatoes and salad
Desserts: Apple crumble served with custard or hope valley ice cream,
OR, Sticky toffee pudding with hope valley ice cream
The hall is not licensed so please bring your own drinks/alcohol. We will provide a couple of barrels of beer. Proceedings will start from 7pm with dinner at 7.30pm and the band and evening entertainment through to midnight. The train station is 5 mins walk away.
