"The Great Urban Fell Race"

Some interesting routes this year, especially those who ran 1,2,3. If Sally had not missed the path below the Ski Slope she would have probably beaten her women's record from last year - just 35 seconds slower. A good run from Kim equalling Sally's time and over 20 mins faster than last year.

At the sharp end, Neil was having a good race with Ralph and had gained a gap but succumbed to a calf strain and had to retire - would have been interesting to see if he could have got near to Rob Little's record but we'll have to wait until next year. So Ralph, defending series winner, gets off to a good start this year with a win and a 5 min improvement on last year's time as well.

Kris G managed to match hid route finding skills to those of his running skills with a 20 min improvement on last year. Austin, last years winner, saying it was easier to run his route in reverse, was 5 minutes slower. Josh and Will ran identical times to last year on the reverse route.

Further down the field some slower times reveal some walkabouts and some bloodied legs revealed some not so perfect routes choices.
