Club Championships:-

Tour of Pendle:- results. Most pleasant to meet up with some of our runners today. Rather benign conditions, no wind, though plenty of mist around. But how I missed the expected abuse from Willy and Lewis, such a shame to return home disappointed. Them two must try harder next year.
But more seriously, just about everyone passing CP9 had words of thanks, and what a nuisance are numbers not immediately readable, Still we have numbers on legs, numbers with a strap across the middle, numbers folded tight. (The bottom part of the FRA Calendar, page 11, makes it all clear, and really does apply.) Just about everyone with a top on easily lifted it to show the number, that isn't any issue.

2015 FRA Relays. Are also at Barley, somewhere no doubt involving Pendle Hill. Everything was crammed enough for The Tour, never mind the Relays. The open field space of Middleton was fine for over 200 teams, and our seven entries. Having seven teams next year seems highly unlikely. But then if Qatar can hold the World Cup, maybe some deposits of Rolex Watches might help our cause?

Commondale Beacon - N.Y.Moors.- results
Peak Raid 3 - round 2. - Old Glossop. - results

Frankly, Carshare, you're simply not worth the trouble these days.  Then again, it was the first Pendle I've missed in six years which is a bit galling. On the plus side, the calf seems to be on the mend. You may also be interested to know that Greg has inherited the Arthur Eaton memorial salver.

I can offer 4 (6 if you don't mind minimal leg room)  people a lift to club champs on saturday. If people are already sorted, can anyone offer me a lift?
