Peris Horseshoe 2019

Details for 2019: Saturday 28th September 2019. Event Centre: The Padarn Hotel, Llanberis.

"Please remember this is a serious mountain race especially in poor weather. The route is not marked and as per WFRA rules GPS is not permitted. Note: given the nature of the race we are happy for competitors to have them tucked away in a bag in case of emergency, however, there is no substitute for am and compass skills. Full kit, including full body cover, hat, gloves, emergency rations will be required.
Please see the attached maps for the routes."
DT is hoping to do the Half Peris, in itself a magnificent major race, with the bonus of catching the bus down from Pen-y-Pass...

Ingleborough:-Only one of the three hills, but well hard enough. So I was talking to some folk about the Relays, and was met with blank faces when I mentioned Lancaster bombers flying at low level over the waters. There's more to the area than just running...Results.

Snowdon:- Results.
Bowels of Fleetwith:- rather interesting?
