Take especial care to keep to public rights of way when crossing farmland in the Edale valley, only using appropriate access points (stiles, gates etc.) as we need to keep on the right side of land owners. Full FRA kit strongly recommended.
This is a Time Trial. You may run: solo, as a household group, or with one other runner (whilst ensuring a distance is kept to 2m at all times).
It is important to recognise that this is not a marshalled race. Self-sufficiency of the group is required in all feasible circumstances. Carry all that you will need to stay safe. FRA kit is a minimum - but quite possibly short of what you will really need to stay warm if you have to stop running. If running alone, please ensure that a responsible adult knows where you are going, the latest time by which you will return and knows what to do if you don't.
The 2 week window to run the race is Saturday 21st Nov to Sunday 6th Dec. Times to glenborrell at gmail dot com by mid day Monday 7th.
Men's record is 1.33.01 by Dave Taylor (2008); women's Karen Dalton 2:01:07 (2006) although it is perhaps slightly further going via Dale head
