Dave Lund's Downhill Only

Dave Sykes says "Just a gentle-late-in-the-day reminder about Dave's downhill only races. It is the last one tonight - Grindslow Knoll (an infinitely better descent than Grindleford). Simply meet at the summit at 1930. Currently Dave is leading the series and I am second with Brent Lindsay in third; there is the opportunity of a podium finish and possibility of DP league points! As this is downhill only the impact on muscles is minimal and therefore a good hors d'oeuvre for the BG weekend; a gentle trot to the summit then a maximum of 10 minutes of gravity aided activity. It is received wisdom that we should work our weaknesses but how many of us practice descending when fresh? Hopefully see some of you tonight."
