Paddy Buckley success for Helen Elmore and Tom Saville

On 13th & 14th July Helen and Tom got round the Paddy Buckley in 23:34. Two very creditable completions in mixed conditions, including some poor visibility and very slippy conditions over the Glydrs. Whilst Helen had been working towards this for some months and assembled the A-team of supporters, Tom threw his hat in the ring just a few weeks before. Tom planned to run supporterless, but in company throughout; which he more or less achieved, with the notable exception of the generous guiding hand of Dave Taylor for a tough last leg. He carried his own kit but had a box in road support. Fantastic success from two of the club's star achievers!
