Paddy Buckley (and the weather) claims 2 more scalps!

Nick sends:- "I thought I'd let you know that the Paddy Buckley round claimed 2 more scalps this weekend ! Or rather, the sun and the wind did. As you know Saturday was very hot, we thought we'd got away with it after drinking c. 8 litres of water each on leg 1, and getting to Aberglaslyn 1 hour up on schedule. But the effects of the weather became apparent during the next 2 legs as we started slowing down and feeling pretty sideways. I retired on Craig Wen with Olly carrying on to Llanberis and stopping there. Conditions underfoot were excellent but our sacs were heavier than normal with carrying 2 - 3 litres of fluids each.

Big thanks to Stan, Sarah and Steve for the support and another excellent day out."
