57A on Sunday 19th April 2009

The bus departed Sheffield Interchange at nine o’clock. We had 50minutes of banter before alighting at Langsett Barn. The early mist soon burnt off and we were in full sunshine by Horse Stone. We were treated to fine spring views and big open spaces. Things got a bit warm by the time we made our way to Kinder Summit. We all finished in good order within an hour or so of each other. Richard Hakes, Bron & young Olly Ray (has he paid his subs yet?) and Roger Slater came out to greet the field as we downed gallons of tea outside the station cafe long into afternoon.
