A week of mostly wet and windy weather resulted in the Fairholmes 4 Trigs TT only attracting eight runners last week. Most had a story to tell not least Nick Kirk who now knows exactly where the bog-monster is. (On the trod between Cut Gate and Outer Edge - SK 18273 96531). Tom Brunt and Emma Mavin won their respective races in a canter. Tom’s tactic was to run the race 24 minutes quicker than anyone else, while Emma navigated her way round to be the sole female competitor.
